As far as grooming is concerned, these cats have short fur and also don’t need baths very often.
2- Old Style Siamese Cat:
The old style siamese cat has a mid- sized body, triangular ears and cross eyes, these features help with their identification. It has a longer face than other breeds and a nose that points straight ahead.
These lovely felines are very attached to their owners, they always like to follow them and adorably divert their attention towards them. Moreover, due to larger ears they are more likely to get ear infections.
3- Classic Siamese Cat:
The classic siamese is the most athletic and traditional version of this cat. They have long sleek bodies, with a long tail, deep blue eyes, rounded head and dark points around their face. Tip of their nose tilts upward a little, this gives them a cute perky appearance.

4- Modern Wedge Siamese Cat:
The wedge head has a triangular wedge – shaped head, a very long and thin body, slender legs and a wide nose that points upward. However, the modern siamese cat is the newer variant of this body shape and one of the traditional breeds.
This breed of siamese is the current show cat,this makes them quite pricey to purchase. They are compassionate and are people oriented. Moreover due to extensive breeding these cats tend to develop liver, heart or kidney diseases. Not all of them get sick, but some only live for 08 years.
5- Light Colored Siamese Cat:
The light colored siamese cat is a result of extensive selective breeding. In general they have wedge shaped heads like modern siamese cats.

The lynx point siamese has tabby markings around the outermost areas of the body. The color pattern can be red, brown, cream or gray. The pattern becomes visible as the kitten starts to grow. These velvety muffins are generally playful, loyal and loving companions.
8- Balinese Cat:
Balinese is basically a siamese cat having long-hairs. It is otherwise characterized by the same cream fur (soft & silky), brown / black points and triangular ears. It can be mainly recognized by its long hairs. These cats are a perfect mixture of elegance and intelligence.
